Gesture-
rock man
In
1982 Ramesh developed, a radical new technique,
pouring and dripping thinned paint onto raw canvas.
This work is shocking to many viewers. He is
developing his own version of a highly charged,
gesture style, alternating between conceptual
work and powerful iconic figurative images that
lay in its directness and immediacy of expression.
His painting is meant to be a revelation of his
authentic identity. His canvas is not a picture
but an experience. “ROCK SCAPE” A
shepherd watching with wonder the natural beauty
of the formation of rocks.
